Caterpillar update

This week we have talked about the changes that we have observed happening to our caterpillars.  We were fascinated by how all the food has disappeared and how quickly they have grown.

End of Key Stage Tests

As we enter May, the children in Year 2 will undertake tests in reading and mathematics. Our live caterpillars have arrived this week and we are really looking forward to watching them grow and change.  We have talked about how we need to take care of them and what we need to do to look after them.


In science this term Year 6 are taking a close look at the human body and how it functions. We started off this week by  finding out what blood consists of: red and white blood cells, plasma and platelets. To help us remember these four components we made our own blood. Can you tell what we used?
