It was an absolute pleasure to take 8 of our Year 3 children to compete in a local school’s tennis tournament at Blyth Sports Centre this week. Mr. Smith offered his coaching expertise to prepare the children for the event. They all performed extremely well, showing excellent sportsmanship and confidence on the court.

We have been food tasting in Nursery, just like the hungry caterpillar. Talking about sweet and savoury foods we tasted strawberry, cheese, sausage, watermelon, cupcake and lettuce (a nice green leaf).
This week we came into Nursery wearing yellow. This whole school ‘yellow day’ raised both money and awareness for the Cystic Fibrosis charity.
The children were spellbound listening to the story aboard the bus and couldn’t wait to tell us how much they had enjoyed it. Can you spot the Eiffel Tower earrings chosen especially for the day…
