We have had a lovely time celebrating The Queen’s 90th birthday today – all dressed in red, white and blue.
The day began with us proudly singing the National Anthem in assembly with the rest of the school – we have been learning it all week in preparation.
After that, we continued the celebrations with a range of fun activities:
After lunch, Mrs Cobb read a story all about a little girl who visited London to look at all the sights, including Buckingham Palace. Thank you to Ebony for bringing the book in for us to look at.
At the end of a busy day, we all enjoyed a special cupcake that Mrs Weaver in the kitchen had kindly baked for every child in the school. They were delicious!
