This week, while we were being biologists in science and looking for signs of Autumn in the woodland walk, we finally came across Conker. He was hiding in a tree. After bringing him back into our classroom, we thought of kind and positive statements that would make Conker feel comfortable and welcome in our classroom environment. He explained in more detail what had happened to his previous home which had been destroyed as a result of people littering and leaving rubbish around. All of us in Lifeboats, promised we would take care of our school environment and wider school area especially in the woodland walk because this is Conker’s home and this is where all of the children in KS1 experience Forest Schools!
