We have had a great few weeks settling into the Summer term, with lots of sunshine to enjoy too! Sport has been high on our agenda in Year 3, with a football coach coming in on a Monday and swimming on a Friday.
We have thoroughly enjoyed working on our football skills across the year group during PE lessons. Kittiwakes have progressed very well in their swimming, it has been an absolute joy witnessing their confidence increase, and at the same time have so much fun. Oystercatchers get ready…it’s your turn next. Don’t forget swimming kits on a Friday after half term.
This term we have started our final topic on WW2 and the local area. The children have been asked to complete a homework project based on this, and have had a letter sent home detailing this further. If you have any stories or artefacts that we could make use of, to bring it to life for the children, we would love to hear from you. As in previous topics, we look forward to seeing some fantastic projects making an appearance.
