Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Appeal

Calling all members of our school community, Year 4 need your help!

A few weeks ago, we were visited by Mrs Nelson from Operation Christmas Child who asked us for our support. We found out about the children in countries around the world who are less fortunate than us and who, without our help, might not have any presents to open this Christmas. As a result of this, year 4 are on a mission to do something about this.

Mrs Nelson explained to us what kind of things we could bring in to help.

With Mrs Simpson and Mrs Dent’s support, we put together a whole school assembly to share what we wanted to do to help.

We shared the kinds of items that our school friends could bring in.

We also showed them a video of children opening their shoeboxes so they could see just how much it means.
