Voting for our Year 4 Team Leaders

At the beginning of the year, the children were keen to have a new system in place where they could have additional responsibilities in the class. These responsibilities include: checking planners, monitoring reading at home and homework, reminding their team mates about P.E. kits and the importance of Mathletics and Spellodrome. A point system was devised to motivate the teams with a reward for the winning team at the end of the week. As well as this, they are also expected to set an outstanding example to their team and the other children in the class by demonstrating each of our 7Rs all of the time.

Y4 Voting for a team leader (10)
We created campaign posters for the person we felt would be the best candidate.

We then had a chance to stand in front of our teams and explain why we felt we, or one of our friends, were the right person for the job.

Following everyone's statements, we then privately wrote down our vote.
