The children have all been working extremely hard this week. Not only have they had the usual pressures of school and homework, but they have been juggling Christmas performance rehearsals, some children have been giving up lunchtimes to prepare for the gymnastics festival that they attended yesterday, and many have been keeping up with their sports and booster clubs.
It is a very busy time of the year and we respect that the children have a great deal of things going on but we are very pleased with the attendance this week after the recent illnesses. All children are giving their best efforts to be in school and are trying very hard to keep the wheels moving.
The girls who went to gymnastics this week have worked extremely hard, giving up lunchtimes to practise and were an absolute pleasure to take. The routines performed were of a very high standard and the children as always were impeccably behaved and were extremely professional in their delivery.
We will be having a rehearsal in the church this afternoon ready for our performances next week which are on Monday and Wednesday afternoon at St Bede’s church. Please see the newsletter and send slips back for bookings.
We are looking forward to a lovely couple of weeks to end this term ready for Christmas.
