We have been extremely fortunate to be able to visit the Port of Blyth. With the help of volunteers, engineers and teachers, we have built (completely from scratch) a working racing car! The children also took part in science and engineering workshops with activities presented from staff across the industry. The children have been inspired by the experience and have learned so much about engineering, teamwork and just how much work goes into building a working car!
Here are a few photos from the day but I’ll save the best for now as Submarines are going to do the same project in April and we can’t spoil it for them!
