The children are rising to the challenge in the last few weeks before their assessments and we know how hard they are working. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support and remind you of a few events taking place in the next few weeks.
Next Wednesday 29th March at 5pm – 6pm we are holding a SATS information evening in school. We would really like to see as many of you there as possible in order to explain the SATs process and share with you the types of assessments your children will undertake at the start of May. We are also very aware of the stress and pressure that some children and parents are feeling as the tests approach. We hope the meeting will be a chance for you to see exactly what is expected and the measures we are putting in place to reduce anxiety for the children and ensure they can perform at their very best.
We would also like to invite parents and carers into school on Friday 31st March at 2:30pm to share the children’s homework projects on the theme of animals. This was extremely successful last term and we are really looking forward to seeing you all there and sharing some fantastic learning that has been taking place at home.
Once again, we would like to say thank you. We hope that together we can help navigate the children through the challenges that SATs present and provide them with the best chance of achieving what they deserve.
