I’d be really grateful if any parents or carers at school during playtimes or lunchtimes could make sure they don’t lift their child up over the railings from the playground. This happened last week with a parent just wanting to give her child a quick kiss and a cuddle at lunchtime and whilst as a mum, I can completely understand this, it isn’t the message I want to give the children. Lifting the children up in this way weakens our safeguarding arrangements and I don’t want the other children to think this is something that we allow. I know this seems strict but I always have to put the safety of all the children first and keep safeguarding routines as tight as possible. Thanks so much for your understanding.
