I hope everyone has had a lovely Easter break from school and is feeling happy to be back at Newsham! The children have settled back to their routines really quickly and there is a calm and purposeful atmosphere in lessons and around school. This term is going to be really busy and the children need to work extremely hard towards the end of year assessments that will be taking place in May and June. To have the very best chance of success, the children need to be at school every single day, well prepared and ready to learn! Booster classes, homework and regular opportunities to read at home are all vital this term and we are relying on the support of parents and carers to help us ensure every child achieves their maximum potential. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns regarding ways in which you can help your child at home. Our school website has lots of resources and it is really worth having a look at it each week.
