As part of our PSHE unit of work, in Year 1 we have been learning how we can look after each other, look after pets and animals and how we can look after the environment.
Please ask us what simple changes we can all make to help look after the planet and we’ll happily tell you. On Thursday, we decided to go down to the woodland walk to take part in a litter pick.
In half an hour, we managed to fill up a bin bag’s worth of rubbish that might have hurt or endangered animals if we hadn’t.
We all felt immensely proud of our hard work and we have all made the promise to never litter and to safely pick up any rubbish we find in our local community.
