Pre-School Journey to Excellence
Although Nursery is officially the start of our Newsham curriculum, we are looking to expand our offer for pre-school age children and their families, so we can start the 'Journey to Excellence' even earlier!
We are planning to expand our offer in the future, and develop capacity for two-year-olds, and possibly even younger. Until we can do this we want to engage with our families at the earliest possible opportunity.
We have welcomed pre-school children into our school through setting up an extremely successful Baby and Toddler playgroup. Children engage in active learning play, and sing songs. Parents socialise and discuss learning and development with school practitioners.

We can also engage families before their children officially start at Newsham through our sister charity, The Lighthouse Community Hub.
