Year 4 have been marvellous mathematicians so far. We have done lots of learning on place value, with a particular focus on numbers up to 10,000. We have used place value counters to flexibly partition numbers in lots of different ways and used lolly pop sticks to create answers to mathematical questions in Roman Numerals up to 100. What a fun start to our maths journey this year!
