This week in Year 5, we have been studying how the tread of different shoes affects their friction. We used Newton Meters to see how much force was needed to move each shoe – to improve our reliability we tested this 3 times then found the average Newtons needed. For this week’s We Are Scientists task, we want you to watch the following clip with your children so they can help you to understand more about gravity and air resistance – it will blow your mind!
