Key Stage One have enjoyed a visit from the wonderful author Elizabeth Green. She gave them the opportunity to talk about their favourite books and reflect on how they make us feel. Words such as calm, excited, happy and relaxed were just a few feelings mentioned. We found out that anyone can be an author with a little imagination. She read us the some of the stories she has written and talked about where she finds her ideas. The children had thought about questions to ask her and Elizabeth was very impressed. Some of us have received our books already and the rest will be coming very soon. We have had the most wonderful day and the children have been inspired to read more.
