Uniform information

We believe that Newsham Primary uniform should be worn with pride. However, we also believe that the cost of a uniform should not be a barrier to education. Therefore we have kept our uniform expectations simple.

Our uniform can be bought from supermarkets and other retailers, as it does not have to have a logo. We also have a uniform recycling project run by our sister charity ‘The Lighthouse Community Hub’. They can provide free school uniform.

Their eco shop is open throughout term time.

However, the supplier Tots to Teams can help you with all of your Newsham Primary uniform needs. They can deliver to school or your home address.

So that your child can wear their uniform with pride, please read our Uniform Policy

Below is a reminder of what the school uniform is. However, I wanted to remind parents and carers about a few things that are very important to us.
Although shorts can be worn, these should not be football shorts. Also, cycling shorts are not appropriate, although some children choose to wear these under skirts/ dresses which is fine. Trainers can be worn on PE day, but children should wear black shoes on other days.
