Year 2 had a wonderful time visiting St Bede’s church as part of our RE topic learning about what makes some places sacred to believers. We were welcomed by the ringing of the bells and learnt all about some of the very important and holy artefacts and what they are used for. We also learnt about what people might do when they come to the church. The children were brilliant, giving some very knowledgeable answers and asking some interesting questions. A big thank you to Father Ian, Father James and Pauline for having us.
