Penguins and Puffins went on a journey to the woodland walk. They used their senses to think of lots of powerful adjectives and collected items to take back to the classroom. When they were there, the children discovered a strange box, and in that box was a piano – we couldn’t believe our eyes! A piano in the forest! Later, during PE, the children had the opportunity to play the piano themselves.
This is the start of our exciting English topic based on The Bear and the Piano. The children have already started writing paragraphs about the bear’s piano adventure… and there’s still more to come!
