Year 1 have had an amazing time exploring childhood toys through the ages. Some of the toys were over 100 years old! They explored Meccano, cup and ball, Jacks, marbles, chess, puppets, a kaleidoscope, toy soldiers, dolls and much more! The children needed to work out how to play with the different toys, which was quite tricky to do with some of the toys. They then ordered the toys from oldest to newest and were surprised by how long ago some of the toys were invented.
