A very happy and proud young man came to see his teacher today to talk about how amazing this book was, and how much he enjoyed reading it at home.
This book is called Blackberry Blue and is a collection of traditional tales written with main characters living or being from various Asian countries.
Miss Graham chose this book to read during her ‘first chapter Friday’ session and he immediately asked for a copy.
He said, ‘It was honestly amazing!’ and he is keen to find other similar texts for his next read.
We love to see it and the teachers are really excited about how much this new ‘reading for pleasure’ project is working.
