This week in Year 5, we began our Forces unit of work. After finding out about friction, air resistance and gravity, we went onto the field and used footballs to explain how these forces have an impact on something that we use pretty much every day. We have now been given our first ‘We Are Scientists’ task to try and see how these forces have an impact on the activities that we do every day – we are going to share our findings next week. In the meantime, when Alexander Isak nets the winning goal against Man City on Saturday, remember gravity, air resistance and friction will be having an impact on his strike! Please enjoy our photographs and videos below and if you have any questions about forces, please ask us!
