On Wednesday, Year 2 had the most wonderful day out visiting Gosforth Nature Reserve. We took part in a range of activities amongst the beautiful autumn colours including: nature art, mini beast hunts, bird spotting and identifying the trees. We were incredibly lucky with the weather and the children were brilliant! The fantastic rangers at the reserve even commented on our amazing children showing The Newsham Way, saying they were “one of the best groups we’ve ever had” and “extremely enthusiastic!” A super day had by all.
