Year 2 classes have carried out an investigation to see how different objects can change shape by squashing, bending, twisting and stretching. After carefully testing each one, they recorded the results on a table. The children discovered that the objects that could change shape were made from soft, flexible materials whereas those that could not change shape were made from materials that were hard and rigid.
