A day to remember for everyone. We went to the Eiffel Tower, but there had been a ‘police incident’ so we changed plans. After walking 21000 steps yesterday (yes honestly, see below) I can honestly say there wasn’t too many that disappointed we weren’t walking up all those steps! We sailed down the Seine on the Bateau Mouche and ate our lunch. It was idyllic. Not really, the children spent the whole tour screaming Bonjour at every single passing person to get waves. 
We then went up the Mont Parnasse Tower with the best views of Paris. On the way there we passed a big cheese factory that had fallen down. All that was left was de brie!
Finally we went for a walk down the Champs Elysees and picked out our next cars and Louis Vuitton outfits. The 7€ the children have left didn’t go very far there! We are now on the bus back to the centre for tea feeling, very French because we are watching Ratatouille. The Paris rush hour traffic is making the Laverock Hall Road look reasonable.
Tonight we are having a campfire and toasting marshmallows and tomorrow, we set off home back to sunny Blyth. Just the small matter of packing and tidying the rooms
The children have been genuinely brilliant to be away with and an absolute credit to you and the school.
