Year 5 had a fabulous trip to Concordia on Wednesday to celebrate National Exercise Day!
We caught the X11 bus from Newsham to Cramlington then walked through Manor Walks shopping centre and arrived at Concordia. We began to have our lunch on the picnic benches outside until a heavy rain shower put pay to that and we were forced to move indoors! However, the weather didn’t dampen our spirits as the children were ready to give it their all in the activities, whether they were climbing or bowling!
As you can see they’ve had a wonderful time and they thoroughly enjoyed getting the service bus… especially sitting upstairs!
The children were amazing and their behaviour was impeccable. Both bus driver’s and members of the public commented on how well mannered and perfectly behaved the children were and staff were very proud to be with them as they demonstrated The Newsham Way superbly.
