In Reception we have been doing a History topic where we have been learning about the past and how it was different. We invited some grandparents in who talked to the children about what school was like when they attended. They brought with them some old photos, books and toys for us to look at. We learned that children did not have to wear a school uniform, they sat in rows at an individual desk and the toilets were outside! The children really enjoyed listening to our visitors and asked some amazing questions. They have also had fun exploring old toys and talking about how they are different from the toys they play with now.
