Year 1 braved the freezing weather for an adventure in the woodland walk. They walked along the crunchy ground and discovered a mysterious box hanging in the trees. When we arrived back in school, we opened the box and inside was a piano! We then went into the hall to play a real piano and discuss the sounds it made. Our writing unit is linked to the story The Bear and the Piano, and we can’t wait to produce some wonderful writing all about the bear’s musical adventures.
