Last Tuesday, Year 3 had a fantastic time exploring Woodhorn Colliery Museum. We created artwork in the style of the Pitman Painters, learned about the workings of the colliery machinery and were given the chance to dress up as pit workers and handle some original artefacts.
We even had time for a play in the park!
