On Wednesday Year 3, Year 5 and Year 6 Sandpipers explored repeating patterns, contrasting colours, flavours, textures, melting and cooling while making yummy treats. We talked about hygiene when preparing food, sharing, and a balanced diet with occasional treats. Pupils were encouraged to take a share plate home for families. We then went on to create a further repeating pattern with skittles and used scientific vocabulary to describe our observations.
